Egg Farmers of Nova Scotia

What comes first - an industry hub or a consumer resource?

Egg Farmers of Nova Scotia (EFNS) is a not-for-profit organization representing the province’s 26 registered egg farmers. Half Twelve provided the lightest of refreshes to their visual identity and a complete website redesign.

The new site needed to serve a dual purpose — as a private portal for members to access internal communications and as an educational hub for consumers.

It was designed to be more intuitive and accessible, with a stronger emphasis on consumer-focused content and storytelling that showcased Nova Scotia’s egg industry.

A key feature of the redesign was an expanded recipe section, positioned as the centrepiece of the site’s consumer experience. This section was developed to highlight the versatility and nutritional benefits of eggs through a growing library of recipes. Vibrant photography, easy-to-follow instructions and the ability to share on social media encouraged repeat visits.
